It's my favorite time of year! The leaves are turning orange, yellow, and red. The hot humid air is replaced by a cool breeze. Bonfires, pumpkin spice everything, and hoodies...just brings a smile to my face! During our walk on Sunday the kids decided to play in the leaves and pick their favorites for a craft. Grandma Carol helped them glue leaves to paper and sign their name.
These donuts are not only easy to make, they're easy on your wallet too! I only spent $2 and made 36 donuts! You'll never have to eat a cold donut again :)

Last weekend I attended a going away party and wore a casual outfit that got plenty of compliments! You always know you're doing something right when someone close to you recognizes it!
The outfit was a "foundation" of black. Black knit pants from Express paired with a cowl neck black shirt from GAP. I then paired this base with a colorful scarf from Express and taupe boots from Target. The leather jacket I have is from Kohl's. All the items I was wearing are from 2011, so I updated with the following outfit which is available online just by clicking the links below.
Whenever you get the chance to purchase items such as a basic tee or pants, always choose black or white. You can play up these items with accessories and bright colored cardigans. Also if accessories aren't your style you can wear the black outfit with a red lipstick and liquid eyeliner and hair in soft curls.

You can be certain that when my door opens a little Shorkie will be there waiting, anxiously shaking, ready to welcome you! Bella is especially happy when Jerron comes home! Every night at 6pm, Bella sits on my bed peering out the window looking for Jerron. I always know he is home because Bella runs to the door tail wagging! Jerron will pick her up and she goes CRAZY! Bella gives Jerron kisses as though he's been gone for years. In puppy time hours probably feels like forever! Jerron's thoughts..."I wish everyone greeted me like Bella does!"
Pinterest has led me to many projects and recipes that I have both loved and regretted! Tonight I decided to make a simple dessert brought to Pinterest by the blog "The Sweet Life". Peanut Butter Cup S'mores Bars are right up my alley...chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, and a sweet graham cracker cake! This recipe was SO easy, but a little messy having to spread the fluff and crush graham crackers. The bars earned a 4 out of 4 in my house!

The recipe calls for 16 Reese's PB Cups, but I only used 11. Also I used 2 cups fluff instead of 1 1/2.
